Solar De Oura is a recently renovated country house in beautiful Oura, a traditional village in the Vidago area. The property has been beautifully restored, with careful attention to matching the old with the new. The ground the hotel is built on once served as a courtyard where agricultural trade took place. It was also the stage for many village theatre shows, cultural soirées and film projections.

This historic property also has a private chapel with gilded woodcarvings. The 18th-century Chateaux is surrounded by natural beauty and a unique ambience that reflects the quaint atmosphere of Oura

A breakfast buffet is served daily with a delicious choice of locally sourced and homemade products. Guests can enjoy regional cuisine upon request and there are also BBQ facilities.

The rooms feature natural elements combined with a contemporary design that mixes rustic stone walls, minimalist decor and linen bedding. All rooms come with a private, ensuite bathroom. Rooms are immaculately clean with all modern amenities. There is absolute silence at night in the surrounding area, making this the perfect getaway for travellers who wish to unwind and recharge in a tranquil setting.

With two golf courses in the vicinity, hotel staff can arrange for guests to visit and practice their skills. Other activities include cycling and exploring the natural surroundings. The natural spa in Vindago is only 1 km away and there are public swimming pools close-by.
