Maol Reidh Hotel

The hotel which finds itself on the beaches of the Irish west coast, beneath the gaze of the mountains of Connemara and Mayo boasts a stylish restaurant with serving all local produce – local white fish, Clare Island Salmon John Wards Dooncastle Oysters, Killary Mussels, Cleggan Crab and Scallops, Bernard Kings Leenane lamb and beef sourced from the wild Atlantic seaboard. The team is always happy to oblige dietary or special requirements. For those not wishing the ‘fuss’ of dinner a variety of dishes are served daily in the bar.

The same bar is a haven of welcomes and friendliness – chat, nap, eat, read or drink – the choice is one’s own.

Traditional music and dancing are regular events at the hotel where you can enjoy Irish jigs, reels, banjos and hornpipes.  Also in the village are a further two traditional Irish pubs where you will be sure of a friendly welcome from the locals.
