Based in Zermatt, the outstandingly rated Alpine Ski School is headed up by pals Maxime Riviera and David “Dido” Erba, both experienced, multilingual and knowledgeable in the art of skiing, snowboarding and even mono-skiing.
Maxime and David, along with their team, are passionate about their work and welcome all learners on board. Whether it’s your first day on snow or your thousandth, we have an instructor to teach any level, technique, at any time and in many languages. Our instructors live and breathe this mountain and are more than happy to share its secrets. We know the best locations to take you to, be that for the powder pockets, the food or the panoramic views.
We offer three unique services: private lessons; ski safari (to Italy and back!); and niche services.
1. Our most popular service: tailor-made ski and snowboard lessons in 10+ languages to the highest standard in a fully private, safe and fun setting to maximise your learning and enjoyment.
2. Ski safari: Guided tour to Italy and back: A unique and unforgettable experience from Zermatt to Italy and back, starting from the highest viewpoint in the Alps and taking in the best pistes, panoramic views and restaurants on both sides of the border.
3. Niche services and skills if you fancy something different. Be it off-piste, ski-touring, freestyle, monoski, telemark, snowshoeing or Kids Academy, enjoy a different perspective and feel for the landscape in a safe and professional environment.
We pride ourselves on providing the best learning experience, from hotel pick-up to the pistes in Zermatt and beyond. Our family-size ski school can also provide first-hand recommendations and advice for the rest of your time in Zermatt in our traditional chalet office.
