Úthlíd Cottages are located right in the middle of the Golden Circle route and offer homely and comfortable accommodation with picturesque views. There is a range of one, two and four-bedroom wooden cabins. All include fully equipped kitchen areas and BBQ grills in the patio. Some of the bigger lodges include hot tubs and larger dining areas suitable for bigger parties.

The landscape around the area is spectacular and our guests can take in breath-taking views of the Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes to the South of the country. Each lodge has a patio, perfect for having a BBQ in the evening or inhaling the crisp, clean air first thing in the morning alongside a warm cup of coffee. Not to mention that on a clear night, guests are treated to their very own private show of the majestic Northern Lights.  The famous Geysir springs and Gullfoss waterfall are just 10km away and Reykjavík is an hour’s drive

We have a restaurant on-site where guests can enjoy reasonably priced food. In the back of the complex guests can interact with our beautiful horses and even choose to take them for a ride. If you feel sporty, we also have a nine-hole golf course open in the summer months.  For an immense experience, submerge yourself in the geothermal waters of our mountain pool, with stunning views of the glaciers

If you are a happy camper, we offer a separate camping area with access to all of the facilities above.
