The Millhouse Lodge is situated in an incredible location in the southern part of Iceland. It is a calm and tranquil setting, perfect for travellers who long for some quality time away from the business and buzz of the capital city. The Lodge consists of three separate cottages with one, three and four bedrooms respectively. The wooden design style exudes a warm and peaceful vibe, perfect for unwinding and spending time with loved ones.
All three cottages are equipped with modern amenities including cooker and fridge for those guests who chose to cater for themselves during their stay. Rooms come with flat-screen TVs with digital channels and free WIFI internet is available throughout the property. Complimentary toiletries are provided for all guests as are soft bathrobes.
Rooms open out to a patio and they all offer grand views of the surrounding hills and river. The entire place was recently renovated and it has a spacious and clean design, with large bay windows that reveal gorgeous, picturesque landscapes. The common rooms are perfect for family and group gatherings and meal times.
The location is excellent for exploring the magical places Iceland is known for. There is a black beach only a short 20-minute walk and the property is surrounded by green fields, farms and a large salmon village to the east. If driving, guests are only a 10-minute drive from the main ring road that leads to some of Iceland’s most famous volcanoes.
