A Palatial Stay

The panoramic views over the Mourish Castle are also visible from some rooms of the palace. The palace is an eclectic and charming private house which is located 7-minutes walking distance away from the historical centre of Sintra. The house was built back in 1890’s and was later restored lovingly by the family. Since then, it has been kept updated by generations working in the marble stone industry. The decision of reopening the space as a local lodgement was made only in May 2017. The palace is designed in such a manner that it takes optimum advantage of the breathtaking scenic views and natural gardens of Sintra. The space, which is divided into two buildings, offers nine individually-appointed guest rooms. Guests can choose to stay in a Deluxe Double or Twin Room, which includes a garden view. The spacious Garden View Room further features Castelbel amenities and are located in existing areas of the main building, including the library, and the blue-marbled meeting room. The room also features a bathtub alongside basic bathing facilities. 

Guests, who might be traveling with their families can opt for the Family Suite or the Suite with Mountain View. The family suite is in the main building and is designed to offer space and convenience to its guests. It provides a huge bathroom with marble flooring, two guestrooms and views over the gardens as well as the Sintra Hills. The suite, featuring Castelbel amenities, is for those looking for utmost privacy.

The Suite with Mountain View occupies all of the second floor of the main building and has a unique view over the Sintra Hill. 

There’s a Classic Room that comes along with its private terrace access. Guests who are staying in this room gain direct access to the garden as well. It has a private bathroom featuring a romantic bathtub. Lastly, guests can opt to stay in the private suite with a garden view. 

Guests will be offered a complimentary welcome drink upon arrival. Every morning, a healthy breakfast buffet is served with a spread of the most authentic, fulfilling dishes. There are lots of tourist attractions located closely to the accommodation, including Park and National Palace of Pena, the Quinta da Regaleira, the Moorish Castle, the National Palace of Sintra, Park and Palace of Monserrate and Azenhas do Mar. All of these attractions have historic importance and are simply a beautiful sight to look at.

The hotel staff is friendly and will make arrangements for the transportation in and around Sintra. The guest house is a 2-minute walk from the main Sintra Train Station and 210-meters away from the Sintra National Library.
