King’s Joy is located in the heart of the old Beijing cultural district immediately opposite the Lama Temple at the Wudaoying Hutong and surrounded by historically significant landmarks in the Beijing Old City such as Bo Lin Si, the Imperial Academy, the Confucius Temple, and Cheng Yin Street neighborhood.

There is an old Chinese proverb that says “Food is at the center of the people.” In 2012, the internationally recognized food vendor returned to its hometown of Beijing. King’s Joy is committed to bringing together the best in both Eastern and Western vegetarian culinary arts to Beijing. Putting on the table the best fruit and vegetable ingredients from around the world combined with the craft of Executive Head Chef Gary Yin.  Under Yin’s direct supervision, using only raw materials that meet or exceed our stringent selection criteria, we pledge to use only 100% fresh, naturally grown or wild ingredients.

The King’s Joy brand was founded more than half a century ago and it has matured into a major culinary force throughout the China region and internationally. It has garnered many international accolades and awards. King’s Joy has received recognition by La Liste to be ranked amongst the best restaurants of the world, coverage in the Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and many other media outlets. Once again, King’s Joy has embarked on a venture to provide innovative, healthy and natural vegetarian cuisine to the public, promoting a mindful and sustainable lifestyle—in hopes to positively affect the planet in which we inhabit for future generations.
