Jonkoping is an exciting city in Southern Sweden located on the shores of lake Vattern. The city and the surrounding county are home to numerous sights and landmarks but have recently come onto many traveller’s radar as an outdoor pursuit’s hotspot.

Further out in the surrounding county there are numerous hiking and biking trails. Both are a great way to discover the natural beauty of the area. The village of Rottle, a popular stop, offers a unique opportunity to learn about the local history.

For something a little more exhilarating why not try rock climbing? There are several places to climb in Jonkoping. You can find rock faces for all skill levels and even indoor courses if the weather isn’t quite right.
