Dubrovnik, specifically the old town, is just naturally Romantic. Narrow cobbled streets, a bustling atmosphere and beautiful sunsets make Dubrovnik an excellent romantic destination.

We’d recommend by starting with simple walk along the dreamy streets and soaking up the atmosphere. When you’re ready a leisurely walk along the city walls is not be missed, especially at sunset when the mood is just right.

The more adventurous couple may decide to take up some kayaking. Kayaking trips to Lokrum are not too challenging and offer stunning views of the walled old town. Lokrum itself makes for a romantic day trip from Dubrovnik’s old town, easy enough to reach by boat and the perfect spot for a nice picnic.

Dubrovnik is set at the foot of mount Srd and the cable cars up to the top are pleasant way to spend the afternoon. You can expect gorgeous panoramic views of the city from the top, be sure to bring a bit of cash to have a couple of drinks.

For couples we recommend the Prijeko Palace, a boutique hotel located in the heart of the old town. An old royal palace that has retained its charm and elegance. Those looking for Sea view rooms and a spa look no further than the Hilton Imperial Dubrovnik located just outside the old town.

Romantic restaurants come in the way of Bar Bota, a quaint side street sport offering fresh oysters and Sushi.
